As this was a national ahow.'ln which dry land sec tions from nil parts of the United States competed, this is one of tho f biggest triumpliR yet accorded to Klamath county. 1 Colorado sections won the first t prizes. ( The exhibit was sont off two weeks I ago, as a general exhibit. Only a . few products ,wcro on hand at the 'time, mostly dry land alfalfa, peas, Soudan grass, etc., and County Agri culturist Roland Ulnlsyer and Fred Fleet had little hopes of securing' any kind of a trophy, considering the com petition. PHONE COMPANY PLANS PROJECT INDIVIDUAL LINES INSTEAD OF PARTY LINES TO HOT SPRINGS AND OTHER SUBSCRIBERS TO I1E RESULT OF IMPROVEMENTS Many new projects of the telephone company will soon put nearly every phone In Klamath Falls on an Indi vidual line. These projects will be completed In sixty days. The first project will put the phones of the Hot Springs addition, before on party lines, on Individual lines. It will be accomplished by means of a cable. A cable will be put up beginning on Eleventh and Pine, and following Eleventh out to supply Crescent and tl.e vicinity of the new court house.
